Ryan Hobbs, 

Trumpet Performer and Educator

Chicago native Ryan Hobbs began playing trumpet at age 10, and has pursued a life-long love affair with it ever since. Ryan is a busy performer and educator, and maintains a full time career in music.  He is currently Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL and Elgin Community College. He plays 2nd Trumpet with the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra, and plays trumpet with Northside Brass.  In 2011 Ryan founded Northside Brass as a professional Brass Group; it has since expanded in the Northside Brass Music Co. which is a Full Service live music Company offering Strings, Jazz, and Brass Groups. Ryan is available for hire as a Performer and Educator offering Private Lessons, Masterclasses, and Recitals.  He lives in Geneva, IL with his wife Molly, daughter Emma, and dog Bernie.
